Executive PA Media Summits are one-day research events for EAs and event organisers to discover vendors , network and develop their professional skills . Taking place throughout 2024 in Brisbane , Sydney , Melbourne and Perth , they ’ re a free resource for qualifying attendees – and are also fully catered . Here ’ s how it ’ s going so far …
Brisbane Event Organisers & Executive PA Summit
27 th March 2024 | Emporium Hotel , South Bank
Kicking off the Summit schedule for the year , this luxury venue hosted matched one-on-one meetings with attendees and suppliers , as well as an excellent keynote speaker – Simon Thewlis of Event Pty Ltd . One of Melbourne ’ s most experienced and well-known event producers , he shared simple techniques for crafting impactful events that create real change .
EAs and event organisers also enjoyed an interactive teambuilding session with the Executive PA Media Summit partner , Be Challenged . During the one-hour ‘ Crescendo ’ program , instructors assigned team members one of two classical string instruments : the violin or the viola .
They were quickly taught the basics of playing their instruments and learned their parts for a custom-made composition . At the end , with the accompaniment of a bespoke backing track , the two sections made beautiful music together .
But that ’ s not all . The prizes were nothing short of incredible , ranging from a DJ performance worth £ 2,000 from Musicland to two nights at Kingfisher Bay Resort to 10 hours of consulting time with Event Pty Ltd .

With speakers like Shannah Kennedy – a renowned strategic life coach specialising in executive strategy , values , vision , and overcoming burnout – and Tammy van Wisse , a world class athlete who shared her journey of making a plan to executing a plan ( along with the shift in mindset needed to accomplish this ), it ’ s no surprise the Melbourne Summit was a big hit with attendees .
Not to mention the top prizes up for grabs . Fullerton Hotel Sydney were offering a night in a Tower Deluxe King room with breakfast for two in The Place Restaurant while Moxy Hotels also had an overnight stay to be won . One lucky winner got a $ 100 Hop Garden voucher from View Hotel Melbourne and , after Shannah Kennedy ’ s keynote , it ’ s no surprise that her prize ( a 30-minute brainstorm session ) was in high demand .
