Association of Malaysian
Medical Industries (AMMI) Formed in 1989, the AMMI represents leading medical device
manufacturing companies in the domestic medical technology
industry. AMMI currently has 64 member companies and
collectively, they account for more than half of the total export
revenue for “Made-in-Malaysia” medical devices. AMMI
member companies continue to be the growth base of the
medical device industry in Malaysia and consist of three main
types of industry players: manufacturers; suppliers of raw
materials and services to the medical devices manufacturing
companies; and importers and exporters of medical devices.
Malaysian Rubber Glove
Manufacturers Association
(MARGMA) MARGMA was established in 1989 to provide a range of
services to members comprising Malaysian rubber glove
manufacturers and associated suppliers and supporting
organizations. Since its inception, MARGMA has been the
official voice and advocate for the rubber glove industry in
Malaysia, having collaborated closely with key Malaysian
government agencies and related ASEAN trade associations to
promote and protect the interests of its members and the
industry. MARGMA also assists its members in addressing
domestic and international issues related to their businesses
and the industry.
