Initiative
3.1
Initiative
3.2
A Medical Devices Working Committee should be formed, where the
committee members should meet on a regular basis (recommended
every 6 months) to discuss about the changing trends within the
industry and their impact on workforce training. The working
committee should have a secretariat to ensure that the key datelines
are met and pending issues are followed up immediately with the
respective stakeholders.
To encourage IHLs to revised their existing curriculums based on the
latest industry needs. Especially for the start, MIDA may help to liaise
with MQA and EAC to shorten / simplify the re-accreditation process
for the revised programs.
