When it comes to the word ‘beautiful ‘I believe it gets passed off as soft and angelic. I believe a great many more qualities should be associated with the word beautiful. How about strong? Bold? Powerful? These concepts are not at odds with sensitivity and gentleness; in fact, together, they make for a far more effective, rounded reality. Our cover queen, Sarah Newkirk, challenged such preconceptions with the title "beauty queen." She is measured at times by the concept of beauty and sometimes simply in the old cliche "Beauty is Skin Deep." I think we all need to remember that beauty is deep! Deep inside this beauty you will find, passion accompanied with compassion, spirit, pride and an all inspiring "confidently beautiful" women.
