Tell it to the

Judges

As an interview/marketing advisor, I take a different approach than most involved in pageant preparation. Fundamentally, my experience lies in over 25 years experience as a litigator and board attorney. I was trained and am hired to advocate the interests of my clients in a variety of forums - the courtroom, negotiations with other counsel, corporate matters wherein I negotiate contracts and agreements and working with individuals on their individual legal needs. This gives me a keen insight to the ability to not only "sell" my client but to also make my client relatable in a variety of environments. Additionally as a father of 3, I certainly understand the uniqueness of each child and working with them to obtain their own individual goals. All this combines to an unique preparation experience for any type of interview and presentation. Development and awareness are key factors that I develop so that at each stage of competition and throughout competition, each contestant becomes aware of their own individual brand and presentation. Being prepared to start, endure and finish the race in top form is and has always been my goal. Developing verbal and non-verbal comunication skills in essence that lays a foundation for growth for success in and out of the pageant arena. I have been developing this style of approach significantly for over 6 years and am pleased that each year I have the opportunity to work with these ladies, they have had success in being finalist in the Miss USA system culminating with Nana Meriwether being Miss USA. In other systems I have had the unique pleasure of coaching back to back Miss Americas for 2013 and 2014.

I enjoy working in the Miss USA® system emensley because it centers on the empowerment of an independent woman who makes a difference in the world she lives in and the Michigan and Ohio programs emphasizes this growth, awareness and progress.
