IT : A COISA
Cary
Fukunaga
(True
Detective)'s idea of the
script is to explore these
children' s dilemmas to
build public empathy with
the Losers Club. Unlike
most movies of the genre, It
takes a long time to deepen
the relationship between
them and present the life of
the main components of the
group. In this, the feature
can, with the help of the
great cast, create an affection of the viewer with each one
of them. However, underneath the cuteness and jokes full
of profanity, it is clear how difficult and problematic is the
life of each one of them. And if the second act extends a
little more than it should, the third can satisfactorily (and
depressingly) complete the journey of the boys and their
fears. It - The Thing is not a masterpiece of fear. This,
however, does not happen because of runtime problems or
broken script. In fact, this new version has a soft aura of
terror prowling a charismatic group of children in search of
adventures. And as it floats across genres, the film hits it
squarely to focus on the protagonists and let them carry,
along with Pennywise, a memorable journey and conflicting
feelings.
