During the gold rush they had lots of entertainment to entertain themselves. The entertainments were puppet shows, lacing, lether bags and bowling. The puppet shows were mostly for the kids. The lacings were for the adults to entertain themselves. The bowling was for kids and adults but mostly the adults were allowed in the bowling club because the adults or the mens drank while playing bowling. The women entertained by knitting and house keeping. This is how the people entertained their selves during the gold rush.
