ORIGINAL CONCEPTS MULTIMEDIA
Writing and designing a magazine can be a long and laborious process. The original concept has been slightly shaped
and molded by the content I’ve received thus far. My original
concept was to focus on and promote entrepreneurs, small
businesses and their owners, and those looking to get into the
entertainment industry in one form or another: actors, writers,
poets, models, musicians and to “humanize” the people being featured/interviewed.
I really want to feature more businesses but sadly I only get
people who think they’ll be the next big music star. That is almost as likely as a lot of kids wanting to be professional athletes. Only some will make it to be professional - the same goes with the entertainment industry. Still I look for content that will come close to my original idea for my magazine.
I also learned the hard way that in business you have to protect yourself and your intellectual property. I no longer have an associate editor because in the midst of making something
great she decided to use some of my concepts to create her own magazine. While working
with me on mine. She also sent an ad for her new magazine for me to run in mine. The irony is
that when I questioned her she had no idea of the concept of conflict of interest. Anyway I wish
her much success. EntertainMe Magazine is a still evolving magazine and it’s final version is
still to be realized.
Writing, designing and editing can be a long process and I have yet to design the magazine
website. The domain leads directly to the magazine. Hopefully by next month I can have the
website designed so magazines that are archived can be read as well as the current issue. If
you want to be featured please feel free to send a bio/story and contact information to [email protected]. All that I ask in return is that you help spread the word on what I
think is a great concept for a magazine.
Check me out and send me some info if you want to be featured. Also like us on facebook
(https://www.facebook.com/EntertainMeMagazine) and follow us on twitter (https://twitter.com/
entertainmemag). Thank you :-)
Do you have a talent
that you want to show
the world? If you are a
writer, photographer,
artist, poet or business
owner who wants to feature your business feel
free to contact us with
your information, pictures or story ideas. We
are in constant search
of talented individuals
to add content to your
magazine.
Our goal is to provide
entertainment in all it’s
many forms along with
featuring small and
large businesses and
their owners and employees. We like to think that
people are human after
all. When you just know
the business side of
someone they sometimes
appear stern and authoritative, which they
have to be. We humanize
them by finding common
ground with the everyday person.
Besides, entertainment
to one person could be
building a deck onto
your house. To another
person an amusement
park would be the ultimate in entertainment.
that’s what makes us all
different, unique and
entertain-able.
