Sarah Solomon is making the

best of a bad situation . In recent months , she has taken the leap from freelance publicist to the owner of Publify Relations , a PR agency that focuses on aiding leaders and change-makers in sharing their message . In defiance of the current economic downturn caused by the pandemic , she has not only managed to double her income but use her influence to lend support to underrepresented voices and spread important information .
Although Solomon was initially reluctant to take the step of becoming an LLC , being quarantined during the pandemic encouraged her to take advantage of the current situation and begin to grow her business even further . entrepreneur and disability activist who is the founder of C Talent , a talent management company representing disabled artists .
“ She is creating such a change in the entertainment industry and people are finally starting to listen ,” Solomon said .
Solomon has also been supporting the voices of healthcare leaders , whose advice is of critical importance as the novel coronavirus continues to spread across the country . Solomon takes her work seriously and has so far been very successful at it . “ Being on lockdown and staying home gave me more time to think about the future of my business ,” Solomon said . “ I am very blessed to have already had an online business in place when the pandemic started and I knew I needed to take the next step to solidify my place in the industry .”
The name of her new company came from combining the words “ publicize ” and “ amplify ,” which fits quite well with the work Solomon has been doing . Publify Relations has been helping publicize and amplify voices of positive change . Including leaders in diversity and inclusion as well as Human Resources . Despite the current chaos , Solomon has managed to ride the storm , showing that with determination and hard work , a crisis can be turned into an opportunity . Even more importantly , she has lent aid to those who needed it . Giving voice to issues of race and diversity while also hitting upon the challenges faced by essential workers amidst the pandemic . In a time when many feel lost and helpless , Solomon demonstrates it is still possible to advocate for oneself and for others if one only wills it .
