This year has been full of ups and downs and honestly , the world is ready to move on from 2020 . Racial tensions are at an all-time high and the rise of a pandemic has stopped the world dead in its tracks . With the hopes of our newly elected President , the one thing that has gotten us through these trying times is our faith . That ’ s when our spiritual leaders / advisors truly can be a pillar of strength in our time of need . Now I ’ ve always known that church is a place of refuge but what Jemel Alston has shown me over the years is that no matter the space or time we can always find time to worship . So it was only right that I sat down with this curator of faith who continues to be a light to many in these dark times .
