Snowfox Skincare
First responders have been one of the most affected groups during this pandemic . Doctors , nurses , and other hospital workers saw an increase in their hours and an escalation in the patients they saw daily . Apart from a mental and emotional toll , these long hours dressed in personal protective equipment ( PPE ) caused a physical toll on first responders as well ; nurses were reporting having sore and inflamed skin after a long shift . To combat this , the cruelty-free brand Snow Fox Skincare donated 500 masks to nurses at various hospitals to bring some relief to their skin . Snow Fox Skincare was founded by Phoebe Song in 2016 . The skincare company , which was launched in Australia with just three products , is now available worldwide . Their products range from sheet masks to tonics geared towards every skin type . Song originally got the idea for the company from her own struggle with inflammatory rosacea . This chronic skin condition results in flare-ups , swelling , flaking , and scarring , and it can be easily triggered by certain chemicals found in beauty products . Because of this , Song spent two years creating a formula combining active and gentle ingredients together for a skincare product that was friendly to all skin types . One of their newest masks is the Hot Stone Facial , which is a self-warming mask geared towards minimizing the appearance of pores , soothing breakouts , and brightening dull skin . Because of the benefits present in this mask , Snow Fox Skincare chose this mask to donate to the nurses at a multitude of hospitals , some of which were Mount Sinai , UCSF Medical Center , and SUNY Downstate Medical Center . The majority of donations were directly shared with nurses at their respective hospitals , however , the brand did use the help of influencers at certain hospitals who were already making care packages or were able to facilitate mask donations in hospitals . This is not the first time Snow Fox Skincare cosmetics has used its platforms and resources to improve others ’ situations . The company also sponsors an animal shelter in Vietnam which helps rehabilitate abused pets and wildlife . They have also generously donated to a multitude of charities around the globe and hope to expand their partner ’ s animal shelter to other parts of Asia . Snow Fox Skincare not only strives to improve the lives of its consumers through high-quality skin serums and tonics but also to leave a positive impact on the world . They are working towards a future in which everyone , including wildlife , is taken care of .
