We normally do four programs a year . We have our back to school bash that usually comes up in August . We also have a family night out around that same time . We have the gala in June that we have every year . We also have our Winter Wonderland that happens in December , so hopefully , things will get back on track , but we will do more so a mix and mingle with the S . O . A . R Movement , as well as with the single mothers .
What activities do you have planned for S . O . A . R in the future ?
For Senior Night , that ’ s something that we ’ ve been working behind the scenes on with our event planner , because I want to make that really , really special . Also , we usually serve the community as far as serving the less fortunate every third Saturday of the month . The kids have to have community service hours as well to be a part of this whole movement . And what that means is to go out in their local community , wherever they may go off to school , and complete 10 to 12 hours every month .
We just want to make sure that everyone is active because it takes a village . So we want to make sure that we ’ re raising this village so right way , and also “ help us help you ,” is our motto . So that ’ s what we want to be able to do for the kids as well as the single moms .

We used to have members , but now we just have influencers and what that means is , maybe they can be a beacon of light for somebody else or another single mother that may be going through something . We want to spotlight as many single moms as we can because there are a lot of us , and they ’ re all over the world , and on the 88 Blessings page we always spotlight a different single mom and what they have going on in the community because it ’ s

Whether it ’ s financially , or just being able to volunteer your time , that ’ s a great need that we have right now . Within 48-72 hours we will have someone to contact them . They will have two interviewers because we want to make sure that our organization is a great fit for them , and to make sure who we ’ re bringing in our organization will be able to serve because we do serve sometimes the elderly , as well as serving kids so we want to make sure that we protect our family .
