TAJI DE SOUZA

Tawanna “ Taji ” De Souza has always had a passion for fashion . Since she was 12 , designing has called her name and continued to inspire her during some of her younger hardships . When Taji was 14 , she discovered she had a heart murmur and would have to undergo surgery in order to relieve her condition . During the recovery , Taji turned to the creative outlet that spoke to her the most- fashion . She researched ways to break into the industry and sketched designs she imagined on runways . After years of being inquired about her unique and glamorous sense of style . Taji created Fashion Coffee styling services .

Taji ’ s goal was to create a service that represented the underdogs of the fashion industry . Focusing on styling plus-size women , the message she hopes to share with her brand is to be confident . “... be fashionable every day , in your own way , letting no one make you feel that your fashion is the wrong way ,” Taji told ENSPIRE when inquired about her brand ’ s essence . Her message about owning your body and style applies not only to the people she styles but underrepresented stylists , like herself , who work behind the fashion scenes . “ I hope my brand inspires others to understand that plus-sized wardrobe stylists like myself have always been here . We too have the creative eye . We can no longer be shy .” she said .
