Some people are unable to cope with pressure , while others thrive under it . Martha E . Berry of IMarE Boutique has proven to be a diamond as an entrepreneur , wife , mother , mentor , stylist , and CEO . Obstacles and her faith in God have helped to mold her life and profession . Her background as a woman of faith has helped her overcome so much . Martha ’ s testimony consists of domestic violence , abuse , and a divorce . She ’ s a wife and a mother of two .
Originally from Franklin , Louisiana , Martha now resides in Houston . During the pandemic , she opened The Glam House , which is a full-service photo experience . And to add to her resume , Marth is the owner of IMare Boutique and the founder of a small business mentoring program where she has mentored over 125 women to help them succeed with their business goals . Martha ’ s determination for success came after being laid off from her accounting job in 2016 and a divorce that soon followed . But , knowing life must go on , Martha established her now successful and high-profile business from the trunk of her car . Martha began styling after a successful closet sale , which led to other plus-size ladies seeking her advice . A journey from uncertainty to fearlessness has now resulted in sales three times her 2020 goal . Berry is a recipient of a Black History Achievement Award from her hometown for being a stellar entrepreneur . Her mother helped instill entrepreneurship in her by creating a praise dancing business when she was limited on opportunities in Franklin . From that , Martha taught several women to praise and worship God through the gift of dance . The model takes pride in showing other up-and-coming business owners they can do anything they set their minds to .
Martha has carved out a niche for herself in the plus-size clothing market , and she has utilized her setbacks as learning tools and stepping stones to aid her along the way . Martha has a sister boutique to IMarE Boutique called the I ’ ceE Collection , inspired by her daughter Iceland . The boutique provides cute , chic , and trendy fashions for young women .
