S.T.E.A.M. IN ACTION
Scholars at all grade levels experience STEAM Education. Integrating Science, Tech-
nology, Engineering and Math into our ARTS-focused curriculum compliments and
prepares scholars all the more since these areas of study these encourage students to
create, innovate, and collaborate.
They learn subject material by seeing it action, interacting with content which helps
them absorb more meaningful information and deepens their connection to the ma-
terial. It opens up more opportunities for assessment, and ensuring they will remem-
ber more beyond a traditional test.
BENEFITS:
• STEAM shows how all things relate in school and in life. It’s more engaging
than traditional learning styles and appeals to all types of learners.
• STEAM lessons coincide with national and state level benchmarks that
testing systems are based on.
• STEAM fosters a love for curiosity. Students are always investigating things
that matter to them, and they are interacting with the world around them,
including other students, which makes learning an experience.
• STEAM education encourages exploration into what the world best needs
from an individual, community, regional, national and global perspective.
