villages and castles in the hills of Chianti, the wonderful Tuscany region. A pleasant three days tour to discover the different aspects of the wonderful Tuscany: art, culture, food, good
wine and breath-taking landscapes of Siena and its surroundings.
Day 1: Verrazzano › Greve in Chianti (6 km) Day 1: Siena
• Arrival in the Chianti Region by own means.
• Check-in in a typical rural Tuscan hotel or in “Agriturismo” (farm house) and welcome drink upon arrival.
• Guided visit to the Verrazzano Castle’s gardens, (castle built between the end of the XV century and the beginning of the
XVI century), to the historical ageing cellars, guided tasting of a selection of Chianti wines accompanied by a light lunch
including gastronomic specialities prepared with raw ingredients from Tuscan excellences. (3h Tour)
• Transfer by own means to Greve in Chianti, a characteristic town situated between Florence and Siena, surrounded by
the suggestive panorama of Chianti.
• Visit to the town and to the Wine Museum.
• Wine Tour and guided tasting with aperitif at the Enoteca Farloni for a unique trip to discover one hundred wines: the
historical structure of Enoteca Falorni is the largest wine shop/cellar in Tuscany featuring over 1,000 selected wines with
more than 100 wines available for tasting, using the innovative enomatic system. Experience a relaxing tasting journey
discovering 13 enomatic “tasting areas”, each one dedicated to a particular denomination or production.
• Transfer to the hotel by own means and overnight. • Arrival in Siena by own means and free time.
• Overnight in a typical rural Tuscan hotel or in “Agriturismo” (farm house) and welcome drink upon arrival.
Day 2: Montefioralle
• Transfer to Montefioralle by own means.
• Visit to the Village, an evocative hamlet near Greve in Chianti considered among the most beautiful in Italy.
• Lunch in a typical restaurant on Montefioralle with a complete menu full of Tuscan specialities and wine.
• Possibility to visit a wine cellar with wine tasting in Montefioralle.
• End of tour and departure.
Day 2: Siena › Castel di Pugna (10 km)
• Breakfast in hotel and meeting with the guide. Half day guided tour of the beauties of Siena: Cathedral, Baptistery,
Museum of the Opera of the Cathedral and the amazing Piazza del Campo.
• Lunch in a typical restaurant with a 3 courses menu rich of Tuscan specialities and wine. Free time.
• Transfer to Azienda Agricola Castel di Pugna. 10 km from Siena, around 5 pm: a wide tree-lined cypresses avenue leads
to the castle, which is surrounded by a historical park and an Italian garden.
• Tour starts around 6 pm: walking across vineyard and olive grove with the description of the vine variety, visit to the
cellar with explanation of production and ageing process and to the suggestive subterranean of the ancient castle.
• Pleasant wine tasting matched with local tipicity like cold cuts samples, pecorino cheese and honey, bruschetta and
Castelpugna extra virgin olive oil at the end of the Tour. Return to the hotel and overnight.
Day 3: Siena
• Breakfast in hotel. Free time at clients disposal. End of tour.
