Enhesa Webinar on EHS Challenges in Low Risk Industries: a Great Success Over 250 attendees from around the world joined Enhesa and GE Global Operations Properties On the 5th and 7th November, Enhesa hosted two sessions of a free webinar on Global Compliance Challenges in ‘Low Risk’ Environments. Over 250 industry professionals attended the two sessions to learn about the EHS challenges faced by office, warehouse and retail operations - traditionally considered to pose fewer risks than construction, industrial or manufacturing sites. The webinar sought to answer the following questions: 1 Are you aware of the health and safety reg- ulations impacting your offices, retail stores, warehouses, or other non-manufacturing facilities? 2 Have you kept track of the recent enforcement activities associated with office compliance transgressions? 3 Do you have policies and procedures in place to deal with infractions or accidents in non-manufacturing locations? The webinar investigated how, due to the common understanding that offices, warehouses and retail spaces are “low risk” compared to manufacturing or production sites, many companies don’t allocate enough resources to ensure compliance with EHS law in these environments.
