Correction of the violations
Any disclosed violations must be corrected expeditiously within a time frame prescribed by the law or by the DEC. If no time
frame is provided, the violation must be corrected not later than 60 days from the day of
notification. If a facility successfully remedies
the violation, it is eligible for a penalty reduction or waiver.
