If you’re unfamiliar with Spartan
Races, you’ll be surprised to
learn that the “easiest” event
is a three-mile sprint across

man. Mike served four years
as an officer in the United States

of service, he held jobs such
as ‘Fuels Officer’ and ‘Officer

aircraft carrier as well as ‘Combat
Information Center Officer’ and
‘Tactical Action Officer’ with ship’s
weapons-release-authority on
a slightly smaller navy ship. His
port visits included such places as
Australia, Jebel Ali, Dubai, United
