Should people give back during the holiday season? In my opinion, everyone should donate a little bit to help those in need. There is joy and content found in giving back and by the knowledge that a little goes a long way for those families in need. The magic of the holdiays is not just reserved for weathly families, and it can be a universal experience if everyone opens their hearts and donates a little.
To me, it doesn't matter if a donation is a television set or an old dress, because it will still make an impact to those who are less fortunate. When I donate something I once thought was special, I would feel amazing that I have just passed it on to someone who will possibly love it more than I did. The best gift of all is knowing that I have have made a difference in my community, and that I have just touched someone's heart and made their holiday magical.
In conclusion, every well- off person should make that special trip to a donation truck, volunteer to make gifts for those in need, or even slip a couple dollars into a funraiser box sitting on a table in the lobby of their office.
