THE GIANT ELAND
These are the biggest antelopes at Planète Sauvage. They live in the wooded African Savannahs and weigh 300-600kg. Both males and females have straight, spiralled horns who serve them to defend themselves.
THE ANKOLE WATUSSI
With superb horns, these spectacular domesticated bovidae are bred in Central Africa, mainly in Rwanda and Uganda. It's a cow that's sacred. The oldest of the herd directs, the male is only for reproduction.
