Africa

The Chapman's zebra

From the same family as horses, zebras are African herbivores. The stripes on each one are unique, which enables them to recognise each other within the herd

THE GREATER KUDU

Weighing up to 250kg, they have large, highly mobile ears and the males have long, superb, spiralling horns. They live in herds in woodland areas from which the males are often excluded.

THE WILDEBEEST

The southern blue wildebeest with black beards are a type of antelope and are therefore not related to buffalo.
