Humanitarian activities
Every year in February a humanitarian sports event takes place
in our school. Some sport is presented. This year it was
volleyball. Students show what they have learned at school and
everyone has a lot of fun. The host was a teacher Miss Petra
Božiković.
The entance to the gym and the whole gym was decorated
with balloons. The maskots took care of good spirit in the
audience speacially among the youngest ones.
The music teacher Mr Predrag Bobić surprised
everybody with his solo on the electric guitar.
Gelato sisters i All about the base had an impressive
performance,too.
You could witness an interview with Mr Nino Matajčić
in which he explained why he chose volleyball.We also
heard Karlo Mataga, a young volleyball player and Isa
Buljan who trains volleyball two times a week and
still has time for everything.
With the good music everybody danced and we heard
talented singers Paula Penić and Zoe Bakalov who can
apply for the Voice without fear. Chiara Galvano sang
with the school choir and the low graders choir sang two
songs, too.
We could see the students who attend Chinese, German,
French and English workshops perform.
Seven graders motivated everybody to do exercises and
eight graders made the first graders join them in the
aerobics.
There was tombola and the youngest participant got a
football as a present.
From the smiling faces of the organisers you could read
that this event was successful.
Our school headmistress Mrs Mirjana Torer thanked in
the end to all the guests for coming. She expressed her
special gratitude to Mrs Silva Strnad Jerbić, our school
psychologist who initiated such events in our school a few
years ago.
