16 August
A send off for Lloyd Mugabe the district champion of public speaking convened at Courtney hotel. It was a thrilling and pleasurable event and attendees were. Many were fortunate enough to walk away with various prizes at the raffle draw. Contributions made by Zimbabwe Toastmasters towards the Champion’s were also handed over to Lloyd.

The biggest and most anticipated event on the Toastmasters International calendar, Toastmasters International Convention was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It’s interesting to note that, division governor Edmore Gamundani DTM, District Champion of public speaking Lloyd Mugabe ACS ALB, our club president Linda Chimanikire TM , Immediate past president William Bapire ACS ALB and 13 other members from the SADC region were part of this grand event read more on page as they share their experiences.
