The RAF is a technically focussed organisation, as such, the Cyberspace Profession plays a critical role in the operation of cyberspace information systems to enable the RAF and wider Defence to deliver its outputs.
As a Cyberspace Engineering Officer, you will be a leader, as well as a technical decision maker and planner, required to manage resources and risk by exercising professional judgment in direct support of military operations around the world.
You will be given world class, industry standard training, that will equip you with the skills necessary to lead and manage large teams of highly skilled and motivated technical personnel. Not only will you be accountable for your team’ s technical output, but you will also be responsible for the management of their welfare, development and efficiency.
The role of a Cyberspace Engineering Officer is diverse, with responsibility for RAF & MOD cyber defence, global communications and information systems, as well aircraft mission planning & support systems, information assurance and modern digital military defensive systems.
