REGULAR ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Age: When completed professional / education qualifications. Maximum Age: 47 Must have entered( M) IOT before 48 th birthday.
Qualifications
An accredited Bachelors or Masters Degree in an appropriate STEM subject, examples of which are computer science; cyber security; or electronic engineering
Degrees must be accredited by one or more of the 2 professional institutions( or certified by the National Cyber Security Centre) most closely aligned to the RAF’ s needs: the Institution of Engineering and Technology( IET); or the British Computer Society( BCS). Degree accreditation status can be determined via the Engineering Council( UK) website www. engc. org. uk.
Other degrees might be accepted at the discretion of the Professions Advisor especially if they contain modules in computing or engineering or are supported by previous education or experience, such as a computing or engineering apprenticeship. In such instances, applicants are encouraged not to self-censor and instead request their recruiter seeks clarification.
Applicants must also have a GCSE at Grade C( Grade 4 to 5 with effect from Aug 17) or Scottish Certificate of Education( SCE) at Grade 2 or Scottish National Equivalent( SNE) at Grade C in English Language.

Residency
Whether or not you were born in the United Kingdom, you should normally have resided there for the 5 years immediately preceding your application, but candidates with a minimum of 3 years may be considered. If you have resided abroad for a period within this timeframe, dependant on the circumstances you may still be eligible on a case by case basis.
