High school sweethearts, Donita and Ryan have been together since 2016! Fast forward to August 22, 2023, in Kauai, Hawaii. The couple planned a bunch of hikes they wanted to take part in. It was the second day, and they were on the Maha’ ulepu Heritage Trail. Donita stood looking at the ocean when she turned to Ryan.“ I can’ t believe we get to experience this together,” she said. She was walking toward the cliffs when Ryan told her to come back. At first, she thought he didn ' t want her to get too close to the edge, but when she walked back and gave him a kiss, he got down on one knee and proposed. It’ s safe to say a piece of her heart will always belong to Kauai. Donita and Ryan will tie the knot in August 2026.
