Courtney and James met in January 2020 at The Harp in Boston. James was out with friends when he caught Courtney’ s eye. She was too shy to approach him, so she sent a friend instead. Little did she know she was about to meet her soon-to-be husband. Four years later, on May 26, the couple spent a quiet morning with their dogs in Cape Cod before shopping with James’ sisters in Harwich Port. One of James’ sisters suggested stopping by Long Beach for a few hours. Once there, James asked Courtney to walk down with him to the water. But the ocean was freezing, so she was reluctant to go with him. He gently encouraged her by reminding her how special Long Beach was to them. Before she knew it, he dropped down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Almost as if he had planned it, the sun broke through the clouds, sealing this magical moment. Courtney and James will wed in June 2026.
Christian & Declan

It was September 2021 when Christian and Declan swiped right. What started as a simple match turned into something meaningful, and even though the couple lived in different states, they made it work by taking turns visiting each other every weekend. The rest was history until Christmas 2024. The couple visited Declan’ s family in Narragansett, and Christian knew this was the perfect chance to make a special memory with his person. One afternoon, he told Declan he wanted to take him on a walk at South Kingstown Town Beach. It was a special place for the couple since that is where they took their first walk when Christian met Declan’ s family for the first time. It was also part of the tour Declan gave of the places he used to go as a kid when his family vacationed in Rhode Island. The wedding will be in March 2026.
Haley & Shawn

While Haley was working at Lululemon in Garden City Cranston, Shawn entered to exchange a purchase. When the two exchanged looks, however, it was love at first sight. The day Haley graduated from Roger Williams University School of Law, Shawn threw her a grand party to celebrate with all of their family and friends present. He even flew in her best friends from Florida and South Carolina to join them. There at the party, he got down on one knee and popped the question in front of everyone they love the most. Once Haley passes the bar exam in February, the pair will elope then later decide on a wedding date for a larger ceremony with friends and family.
Sarah & Ryan

Like many modern-day fairy tales, Sarah and Ryan swiped right on each other, and sparks flew almost instantly after their first date. Unfortunately, a winter storm almost canceled their second date. But that didn’ t stop Ryan from putting his truck in four-wheel drive and facing the snow to make it to Sarah’ s neighborhood. What was supposed to be a short visit turned into a snowy day together. Fast forward to a spontaneous weekend trip with their dogs to a lake in Tennessee. While exploring the area, the couple decided on a whim to take a hike that led to a scenic overlook above the water. When they reached the top of the trail, the lake stretching out below, Sarah turned to find Ryan down on one knee. The couple will say“ I do” in October 2026.
