The Meet Cute: It all started back in 2021 when Nicole and Pasquale( Pat) met through mutual friends over dinner. Not thinking much of it, the couple went on to live separate lives until they eventually ran into each other once more. After that, their fate was sealed, and they’ ve been together ever since!
The Engagement: The weekend before Easter 2024, Pat and Nicole had an exciting trip planned to St. Thomas. Knowing it was Nicole’ s favorite holiday, Pat made an Easter basket filled with Nicole’ s favorite candies, and hidden underneath was a certain box( or“ the black box,” as Nicole coined it). After discovering the black box that contained a gorgeous ring, Pat got down on one knee. Speechless but filled with joy, Nicole said yes. The couple couldn’ t have had a more perfect and memorable experience. They spent the rest of the trip celebrating with their families in the paradise of St. Thomas.
The Venue: Pat and Nicole both knew from the start that they wanted an outdoor oceanfront venue and to stay fairly local to their home in Connecticut, but nothing was quite speaking to them. The allure for them was a perfect mix of charm and class, which is why they fell in love with Regatta Place. After securing the venue, they cancelled the other tours because they knew that they had found the one.
The Theme:“ The theme of the wedding was us!” says Nicole. The couple wanted to factor in elements of people and things they both adore. The more candid and personal, the better! They used a color palette of blue, white and vintage silver that seamlessly blended in with the nautical and“ old money” aesthetic.
The Menu: Since both Nicole and Pasquale come from Italian ancestry, having great food and drinks for guests to enjoy was an absolute must! From espresso martini towers and Lenny’ s Lemonade cans to Italian pastries and the Wiener Wagon, there was no shortage of food.

The Highlights: Pat and Nicole’ s wedding created lifelong memories. They brought the entire dance floor into a wild array of dancing, laughter and good energy with“ Pink Pony Club” by Chappell Roan. Their precious dog, Roscoe, stole many hearts during the ceremony. However, they will forever cherish the private, intimate vow exchange before walking down the aisle.
The Advice:“ Take it all in; the day really does fly by,” says Nicole.“ Think about what the day is truly about and don’ t leave each other’ s side! Get your formal photos done before the ceremony and spend the time enjoying your wedding; you’ re the guests of honor!”
