“It was… just woah,” says Jenny, smiling over at Mary.
“Belle of the Fall was performing ‘How Long Will
I Love You’ by Ellie Goulding and she was walk-
ing towards me in this gorgeous traditional gown.
It was just perfect.”
“You looked alright too,” Mary says with a laugh.
“No, really that was my favorite part of the day. I
couldn’t keep it together. There’s just so much buildup
and then when you get there it’s surreal. I wouldn’t
trade that moment for the world.”
And they didn’t have to sacrifi ce anything to get
that moment. Their photographer, Stacy Smith, was
still able to capture stunning golden hour portraits
and the two still had the times of their lives at the
reception. “After all of the formalities were out of
the way it was nice to just let loose,” says Mary. “We
spent the last two hours just crazy dancing with all
of our family and friends and that’s when you could
feel that it had all paid off. There was just so much
love in that room.”
