9th April 2008 Regional Awareness Breakfast Birmingham Hyatt 08:00 – 11:00 Raising awareness of MSDUK’ s activities and achievements amongst business intermediary networks MSDUK, Corporations and Business Champions growth of their businesses with 35 per cent requiring marketing skills. Consortia, employment and HR issues and IT and e-commerce also featured on the training‘ wish list’. Continues Mayank:“ Feedback from suppliers and buyers was extremely positive with one senior buyer in particular stating that“ going to the market place for the services on offer, we would definitely like to include the suppliers we saw at the event.” Everyone in attendance felt that the one-to-one meetings and networking lunch presented an‘ excellent place to do business’.”
MSDUK’ s first event of 2008 will be the Business Opportunity Fair at the Emirates Stadium on 12th March, closely followed by a Supplier Orientation event on 30th April. States Mayank:“ Supplier Orientation events are a new area for us and are aimed at supporting the development and training needs of minority businesses. Events will focus on minority supplier development and are planned in close conjunction with the supplier development working group.“ The training provided is diverse and includes input from corporate members with skills and experience to
