Workshop Topics
The focus of the Supply London & London Value Chain workshops is to give specific and practical support to SME / BAME clients by delivering tailored workshops on subjects relating to real business issues .
Health and Safety policy
If you have 5 employees or more you are legally obliged to have a written Health and Safety policy , but even if you have less , large organisations are insisting that suppliers are able to demonstrate a written Health and Safety policy .
Quality Assurance policy
Large organisations require suppliers within their supply chain to be able to demonstrate and evidence a robust Quality Management System , so if you have yet to formulate your quality assurance policy , now is the time to do so !
Winning New Business
Bidding for and winning contracts is often seen as a lengthy and complicated process for the small business . This workshop is designed to explore and clarify this process , providing a user-friendly over-view of the procurement practices in both public and commercial sectors .
Environmental policy
Large organisations are insisting that suppliers are able to demonstrate a written Environmental policy , and it is important to realise that an environmental policy can make up to 10 % of a total tender score .
Double Your Sales
To educate clients in what works and does not work when it comes to marketing and promotion . The workshop will use real examples and research results which demonstrate the tactics which deliver results .
eCommerce and Web Based Marketing
This workshop will be recommended for SME ’ s / BAMEs
who wish to get more from their internet presence . It will enable delegates to use the internet as a generator of sales and a route into existing and new market places . Further to this , delegates will understand how they can conduct business more efficiently using the internet , provide after sales support to clients , build distance trading relationships and other business trading activities which benefit from the increasingly networked economy . uk | engage ISSUE FOUR 2007
