Mangoes- the king of all fruits! But Why?
Summer is here and so are Mangoes! It is a well-known fact that Mangoes are the King
of all fruits, but how many of us know why they have earned this privilege.
The theory of evolution puts forth the concept of ‘Survival of the Fittest.’ We have
learned that, most of what humans do, is in order to survive. Therefore, making most
of, if not all mankind health conscious.
One would rarely come across an individual who is not fond of mangoes. Left alone the
fact that they are juicy, sweet, savory and make a lot of delicious dishes; it is the

fruit also finds a mention in ancient Sanskrit texts, such as the Ramayan and since
the Vedic times, it has been claimed by Ayurveda experts, to be of extreme nutritional
value.
