Tri-Music Honor Society
Enfield High School held the 3 rd Annual Member Induction and Chapter Officer Presentation of the Tri-M Music Honor Society,
Chapter #2487. The Tri-M Music Honor Society is an international program dedicated to the recognition of exceptional music
students in grades 6–12 that meet the specific music, academic, leadership, and character criteria. Tri-M currently has
approximately 50,000 members in more than 1,700 chartered chapters worldwide. The purpose of the Tri-M Music Honor Society
is to inspire music participation, create enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate a desire to render service, and promote leadership
in the music students of secondary schools. Tri-M is a program of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), which
is the largest arts education association in the world.

Gannon, Andrew Jones, Jon Legere, Nate Messier, Bobby Moeller, Collette Moreau, Erin Pellegrini, Wen Bing Shi, Ashley Smith,
Lindsey Suggs, Emily Vandal, Holly Veilleux, Madison Veilleux, and Harrison Youngberg
Congratulations to our returning Enfield High School Tri-M members and student officers: Anabelle Daly-Secretary, Alyssa
Dowding-Vice-President, Jackson Lyver- Historian, Olivia Sears-President, and Sean Suleski-Treasurer.
As part of this year's ceremony, Dr. Cara Bernard, Assistant Clinical Professor of Music Education at the University of Connecticut
in the NEAG School of Education, was the invited guest speaker. Dr. Bernard made an impassioned speech about the role and
influence of the arts in our lives and communities. She invited the students to find their own voice in the arts and make an impact
in serving their community. Special thank you to our chapter advisors, Mr. Aaron Ovsiew, Mr. Chris Dresko and Ms. Ilanna Tariff
and our honored guests Mr. Dan Wabno and Mr. Mark Reppucci.
