Mr. James Lyver is an Enfield High School alumnus (Class of 1997). He has been
teaching Social Studies for 18 years, he was previously employed at Ellington High
School. He attended St. Peter’s University in Jersey City, NJ before returning to his
hometown. Mr. Lyver also serves as the head football coach at EHS. His wife and
two children also reside in Enfield.
Hi all! My name is Chris Mahl and this is my 7th year teaching Science
after graduating from Sacred Heart University. I taught for four years in
Hartford and two years in New Britain before coming to Enfield. I grew up
in northern Vermont which sparked my love for the environment and
science. Let’s have a great year!
Saludos a la comunidad de Enfield! My name is Jerome Manning and I
am a new Spanish teacher here at EHS. I have lived in CT my entire
life except for time I spent in Spain in 2003 and 2012. This is my 14 th
year of teaching and I am excited to join the Enfield community! I am
also excited to be working in a new school.
Nicole Preston lives in South Windsor with her husband Josh and
almost six year old daughter Clara. She was an English teacher for
many years before becoming certified in Special Education. She
has combined both and is now a SPED teacher for English and
Math. Mrs. Preston grew up in Stamford, CT and went to UCONN.
