Students will learn about water-based media and investigate a variety of techniques and applications . Emphasis will be placed on composition and color as students develop paintings from both classroom still-life arrangements and personal sources . All required supplies can be purchased from Michaels Arts & Crafts at 25 Hazard Ave , Enfield , CT . Materials list is located online .

Drawing is the most important part of every work of art , and often where each work of art begins . In this course you will focus on the development of observational skills and exploration of drawing techniques , tools and materials . You will learn technical skills and explore specific subject matter , such as landscape , portrait , figure , still life , etc . This is the perfect course for any beginner looking to improve their skill !

This 4-week class series is an introduction to therapeutic arts . The purpose is to cultivate more confidence and empowerment in our lives through self-expression . This class is a safe , judgement free space to tap into our inner creativity , without allowing self-criticism to hinder us from our potential . No matter if this is your first time or you are more experienced , you have a place here .
