General Education Development courses prepare students in four areas . The GED test is given monthly at the Enfield Annex . Official GED Ready tests ($ 24 value ), with access to all resources and support may be available FREE to students who attend classes and / or lab .

ADULT BASIC EDUCATION

Adult Basic Education classes are designed for the student who needs additional skills prior to entrance into the GED preparatory classes . Students work individually with the classroom teacher in upgrading basic reading , writing and / or math skills . Computer assisted instruction is available .

These classes will prepare students for the test given to individuals desiring to become American citizens . This course covers the Immigration process , U . S . Government , U . S . History and current events .

In compliance with Connecticut General Statute 10-73a , there is no fee for registration , books or materials to any adult enrolled in the Citizenship , ESL or high school completion programs .
