General Education Development ( GED ® )
The GED ® is a state and internationally recognized high school equivalency diploma for Connecticut adults . Enfield offers many opportunities for students to gain the skills necessary to pass the GED ® test . Day and evening classes are available , as well as day and evening learning labs . The class schedule is available on page 15 .
GED testing will be given in Enfield days , evenings and Saturdays . Prior to registering for the exam , students should complete practice tests in all four subject areas . The cost of each practice test is $ 6.99 . This fee will be waived to students who are enrolled in Enfield Adult Education GED program . Connecticut Statute requires all students to meet with an Adult Education counselor prior to registering their GED ® exam . To register for the test , go to www . GED . com .

There are three different diploma options in Enfield Adult Education . You must be a Connecticut resident , 17 years of age and officially withdrawn from school to enroll in any program .
