September 14 ( Rain date September 21 ) Jim Malley - ( Smoothie fee included ) No Surcharge , No Senior Discount This walking tour begins at the playground at the corner of School St . and Hazard Ave . The tour heads up School St ., then heads east past the Hazardville Fire Dept . and the former Bridge Manufacturing Company to Park St . The tour continues past St . Bernard ’ s Church , the Hazardville Hotel and Cannister Hill . The tour passes the Hazardville Cemetery and Hazardville Grammar School . ( Participants will park on School St . along the playground )
SHAKER PINES WALKING TOUR ( Saturday ) Fee $ 29 – Cybulski Road / Moody Road Sept 28 ( Rain date Oct . 5 ) 9:00 a . m . - 12:00 p . m . - Jim Malley No Surcharge / No Senior Discount The tour starts on Cybulski Drive . Participants will learn about the Enfield Shaker community which lasted from 1792 – 1914 . The tour will continue along Moody Rd . & Print Shop Road and learn about former and current businesses . The tour will continue by car to the LEGO Soccer fields along Shaker Road to view and discuss some of the remaining Shaker buildings , Crescent Lake , the canal and cemetery . The tour will continue by car to Bridges Road to discuss Shaker Lake , the former sawmill and area businesses in the neighborhood .

This walking tour begins at the Powder Hollow baseball field and continues along the Scantic River Linear Park and then returns to Power Hollow Park . The tour will continue by car to tour the Collins Farm and enjoy an ice cream at the Collins Creamery , 9 Powder Hill Rd . ( Tour begins at the end of Dust House Road at the Powder Hollow baseball field .)
