Peter Dixon of Frankston was fined $ 2000 without conviction and $ 1889 costs in Melbourne Magistrates ’ Court for performing unlicensed electrical work .

Alo Kepsner of Toolern Vale , LEIW , was convicted and fined $ 1300 and ordered to pay $ 1747.35 costs by Melbourne Magistrates ’ Court for one count of holding out to be a REC , six counts of carrying out electrical contracting work and six counts of failing to compile a Certificate of Electrical Safety .

Shane Winstone of Endeavour Hills , LEIW , aggregate conviction and was fined $ 12,000 plus $ 1850 costs in Frankston Magistrates ’ Court for holding out as willing to carry out electrical work when not registered , carrying out electrical work when not registered and installing unsafe electrical equipment .

Arron Laing of Cranbourne , REC-LEIW , was fined $ 1500 without conviction and ordered to pay a further $ 1500 costs by Ringwood Magistrates ’ Court for installing unsafe electrical equipment , carrying out electrical work that made a building unsafe , performing noncompliant electrical installation work and failing to have work inspected or complete a COES .

LRM Contractors ( Vic ) Pty Ltd , excavating company of Footscray , was charged at Melbourne Magistrates ’ Court with making an opening in the ground above an underground electric line so as to endanger the line . LRM was fined $ 2000 without conviction and director Simon Razzi of South Morang was released on an undertaking to be of good behaviour for 12 months and ordered to pay $ 500 plus $ 1800 costs .

Gold Leaf ( Preston ) Restaurant Pty Ltd was charged with failing to comply with a gas disconnection notice . Broadmeadows Magistrates ’ Court released Gold Leaf on an undertaking to be of good behaviour and ordered it to pay $ 1000 to the Court Fund in addition to $ 1200 in costs .

Adra was also charged with using the title of plumber and carrying out plumbing work when not registered or licensed . He was convicted and fined $ 5000 plus $ 2478.38 costs .
