Identified non-compliance breaches

Listed below are the most frequently
identified non-compliance items as a result
of recent inspection activity performed by
ESV on gas installations (May to July 2017).
When inspecting, ESV assesses the
installation for compliance against the
prescribed Australian Standards. It is imperative
that gasfitting professionals have the right
tools for their job. This includes access to the
relevant Australian Standards. Reading and
understanding the relevant standards, as well
as following the manufacturer’s installation
instructions, is important to ensure a compliant
gas installation.
