These four open flued gas heaters
do not comply with the combustion
requirements in the relevant Australian
Standard and are the subject of a
Safety Alert.
The manufacturers of these products
have developed a technical fix, and
affected customers will be able to
register to have their appliance fixed
and their installation tested by a
qualified gasfitter.
The responsible supplier of these
products will meet the costs of the
technical fix.
However, if other issues unrelated to
the technical fix are identified, such as
installation issues or poor appliance
maintenance, the owner of the appliance
will be responsible for meeting the costs
of these repairs.
