Methods The descriptive and cross-sectional study consists of all the children and nurses working in these units at a university between the ages of 0-18, with any or all of the medical lines. The G*Power packet program was used for the power of the study and the sample size was set at 400 children with 99% power. The number of nurses participating in the study is 84. Results The study was carried out by observing 809 line over a total of 400 patients. In the study, the entanglement of the medical devices was determined as 40.5%. There was a statistically significant relationship between the level of medication and the level of activity and number of lines in children.
