Abstract: the present study proposes an original method for the identification of Marusich’s constitutive equation (MCE)
for finite element simulation of high speed machining. The material constants for the aluminums 6061-T6 and
7075-T651were identified inversely using orthogonal machining tests and dynamic tests.
