PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHT Trinity Repertory Company presents A Christmas Carol
NOV. 6 – DEC. 31: New England’ s beloved holiday tradition is home for the holidays! Trinity Rep presents its forty-ninth annual production of A Christmas Carol in the intimate Dowling Theater. Co-directed by Academy Award nominee, Emmy Award winner and former Trinity Rep Artistic Director Richard Jenkins alongside acclaimed choreographer Sharon Jenkins, this year’ s production promises a theatrical event filled with close-up magic and heartfelt storytelling. As the clock strikes midnight on Christmas Eve, the curmudgeonly Scrooge finds himself face-to-face with the ghost of his old partner, Marley. What follows is a supernatural journey through past, present and future— one filled with music, wonder and theatrical invention— that forces Scrooge to reckon with his choices and discover the possibility of redemption. A Christmas Carol at Trinity Rep is more than a play; it’ s a celebration of community, compassion and the joy of the season. Whether you’ re experiencing it for the first time or carrying on a cherished tradition, this year’ s production will warm hearts of every age and remind us all of what it truly means to keep Christmas in our hearts.
