Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas at Blackstone River Theatre

OCT . 14 : Playing in their one New England gig this tour , the musical partnership between Alasdair Fraser —“ the Michael Jordan of Scottish fiddling ”— and brilliant cellist Natalie Haas spans the full spectrum between intimate chamber music and ecstatic dance energy . Over the last twenty years of creating a buzz at festivals and concert halls worldwide , they have set the standard for fiddle and cello in traditional music . Fraser has a long list of awards and feature performances on movie soundtracks ( The Last of the Mohicans , Titanic ) and was inducted into the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame in 2011 .
