My name is Steve Maestas. I have always been interested in old cars ever since I was little. I would see them on the road and promised myself that one day I would own one. I worked and saved my money until I felt I had enough to buy an old car so while in high school I bought a 1953 Plymouth coupe. I started having brake problems and didn't have money to start fixing everything that needed to be fixed. I was offered 300.00 for my car so I sold it and again promising myself that I would buy another car. My wife Sylvia and I went to visit family in Roswell and took some money just in case we found a car. While in Roswell we went crousing for a car and my wife Sylvia and I spotted and fell in love with this 1938 just sitting under a willow tree. We talked to the owner and negotiated on a price. We brought this beauty home 16 years ago and it is still my beauty next to my wife.
