From the Editor-In-Chief
ecember is upon us! This time of year, for most, is usually a time of relection.
As I reflect on 2016, I definitely see that this year has been one of many ups and downs for a lot people,
including myself. There has been some days that made me want to crawl into hole and stay there until next spring.
At the same time, I can see how those not so comfortable moments have shaped me into who am I now. Looking
back on the contrast, I now see more clearly how each decision we make impacts our lives. Whether its comfortable or not, it is what it is. Like a fork in the path. We can choose to live in mourning, in guilt, in resentment, OR
we can choose to let go, forgive and live in joy. Some say that its easier said than done. Is that really the case? Is it
easy to go on with your life wishing for a better life? Is it easy to live paycheck to paycheck? Is it easy to carry the
baggage of an ongoing grudge with family or friends? Is it worth digging down deep into yourself to find what you
truly LOVE in life? It just may be what takes your life from a 5 to a 10.
I have found that an attitude of gratitude will take you far. No matter how hard it gets, stop for a moment, take a
long deep breath... or two... or three, and think of at least 3 things that you’re grateful for. Writing them down will
help to really let the gratitude sink in.
In this issue our self taught health and fitness guru Beverly, talks about mindset. A valuable ingredient to
success of any kind. Speaking of success, we continue to introduce our growing Encantado team. Newest member,

I am extremely grateful for all of the love and support our readers, friends and family have been showing
us! Don’t forget to share the love with your friends and family. You can always copy the link to the current issue on
