I
t’s here! October. Our 1st year of digitally publishing Encantado Magzine is in the books!
What can we say? We are so very blessed and honored to have met and worked with such inspi-
rational individuals in our very own community! The emotions we’ve been feeling are beyond
words. You know who you are and we couldn’t possibly list everyone here. We just want you to
know that you are so appreciated and loved!
As we enter the 2nd year of publishing, we have much in store in order to take Encantado to
the next level! We can’t wait to share more with you in the near future!
But for now, lets focus on the here and now. October.
Release and recover. I can say that that definitely seems to be the theme for October already.
Needless to say there is so much going on in the world right now and also within one’s own
inner world. For me, the messages that I continue to receive is release and recover. So much so
that this issue is a tad late due to 2 or 3 unrelated incidents that occured which just did not al-
low the issue to be released on the 1st of the month. After huffing and puffing my way through
a few hours of trying to force things to happen, I told myself that this must be divine interven-
tion so I accepted the sign and took the time to center all weekend. Although I was still a busy
bee, I was working through true inspired action. This, I realized, is so important for us all to
work towards. Inspired action means there is no resistance. You flow with the universe.
This month is Domestic Violence awareness/prevention month. I’d also like to look at it like a
month of intentional self-love. Be hyper-aware of what you’re thinking, what you put into your
body, what you listen to, who you surround yourself with. And ask yourself if those things are
bringing you closer to your purpose or taking you further away. The answers are always inside
of you! Always love and respect yourself!
In this issue our Featured Pioneer, Teresa Garcia, is a very good example of just that.
Speaking of release and recover. Let’s take a deep breath and dive into some fantastic content
by our regular contributors and lose yourself in the halloween inspired photographic master-
peices in the following pages!
