Summer is officially here! How quickly the 7th month of 2017 has touched
down. July, we welcome you! We welcome the warm weather, and the sum-
mer sun of the NM desert. Those quick but appreciated summer rain teas-
ers. We look forward to the great summer memories we’ll make. Summer
is a time when kids are out of school, a time to take that family vacation, a
trip the lake or camping. Time for BBQs, evening walks, and weekends at
the pool. Drinks on the patio, and the beautiful NM summer sunsets. We
look forward to taking part of the summer fun outdoors like Summerfest,
outdoor concerts, and outdoor yoga! Another summer fave around the
corner is the 4th of July! On July 4th, 1776, the 13 colonies claimed their
independence from England, an event which led to the formation of the
United States. Have fun and be safe in your celebrations! Get a designated
driver or call safe ride, use caution with fireworks and collect all debris
when the fun is over. Let’s collectively work to celebrate responsibly.
We’re happy to feature 2017 Miss Prominence winner, Frida Mercury. Get
to know this talented and inspiring young woman.
Encantado model of the month, Jervay Gonzales, captures the essence of
summer fun in her recent bikini shoot.
So for now, sweeten up some of that sun tea, and enjoy the July issue!
